What is free?
Local mode and test keys. You do not need a card to try the product shape.
What does BYO ($9.99 / month) include?
Live app config and publishable config fetch. Knowledge, retrieval, the model, and visitor logs stay on your backend.
What does Hosted ($19.99 / month) include?
Everything in BYO, plus storage for approved sources, the derived index, visitor questions, optional conversations, unanswered items, and citations. That storage sits inside a published resource envelope. It is not unlimited, and this page does not list block sizes yet.
Is there a seat charge?
No. The paid unit is the workspace per month. Second product is 25% off that product's list. Third and later are 35% off list. A future capacity add-on would not be a product and would not be stack-discounted.
What happens if I cancel Hosted?
Writes freeze immediately. You can export Hosted JSON for 30 days, then those Hosted rows are deleted. Moving Hosted to BYO keeps the rows and does not start the 30-day clock.
