The same page described auto-recharge credits and extra agents. Those add-on prices were also not in the text we fetched. A summed “Chatbase at this volume versus $19.99” figure needs their page on the day you publish it. This page leaves that total out.
Job and storage
Chatbase is the right category when you want an agent that can grow into helpdesk, voice, and outbound campaigns. Answers stops at the question. Unsupported questions stay unanswered. There is no model-memory fallback and no public confidence percentage.

No. Local and test are free. BYO is $9.99 per workspace per month. Hosted is $19.99 per workspace per month inside a published envelope. Hitting an included ceiling stops that axis. There is no credit meter and no surprise invoice.

On Chatbase, you train an agent on content in their product. Bootstrapware BYO keeps knowledge, retrieval, the model, and visitor logs on your backend. Hosted stores only sources you approved, and every Hosted source is visitor-readable.
