Scope

A question widget, not a helpdesk.

English first. The default page hint is the current URL and title. Answers does not send the page DOM.

Answered

A factual reply cites retrieved evidence. It does not invent URLs.

Unanswered

Unsupported questions return unanswered and the fallback you configured.

BYO keeps it on your backend. Hosted stores only sources you approved as public.

What does Answers do?

Visitors ask in plain language. Answers cites retrieved evidence when it has some, and it says it does not have an answer when it does not. It is not a helpdesk, a CRM, or an AI employee.

What is free?

Local mode and test keys. Live publishable config needs BYO ($9.99) or Hosted ($19.99). Live Hosted writes need Hosted.

What is the difference between BYO and Hosted?

BYO ($9.99) keeps knowledge, retrieval, the model, and visitor logs on your backend. Hosted ($19.99) stores approved sources, the derived index, visitor questions, optional conversations, unanswered items, and citations on Bootstrapware, inside a published resource envelope. Hosted is not unlimited.

Can I install the widget today?

Not yet. This site describes the product. The React package, script embed, crawl, and ask API are not published in this release.
