Building a stack? The more products you add, the less each one costs.
Every Bootstrapware product is independently purchasable at list price. When you add a second or third product, the discount applies automatically. Comments list prices take the same 25% and 35% rules as the other paid products. There is no Comments storage add-on.

What is free?
The local adapter, the in-browser demo, and test keys. You get the real embed without a paid Comments entitlement.
What does BYO ($9.99 / month) include?
Live app configuration, publishable config fetch, revisions, and operational sessions. You store threads, comments, mentions, and read state through a CommentsAdapter.
What does Hosted ($19.99 / month) include?
Everything in BYO plus Bootstrapware storage for discussion text, mention ids, optional display names, and read markers. Live Hosted writes require the Hosted plan. You moderate that content.
Is there a seat charge or a per-comment invoice?
No. The paid unit is the Bootstrapware workspace per month. The 1 GiB Hosted cap and the 10,000-character body limit are operational. They are not invoice lines, and there is no automatic overage.
Is $19.99 the same plan as Importer?
Importer production is a single $19.99 tier. Comments has its own ladder: free local and test, BYO $9.99, Hosted $19.99. Stack discounts still apply across products.
What happens if I cancel Hosted?
Writes freeze immediately. Export remains for 30 days, then Hosted discussions are deleted. Moving Hosted to active BYO keeps the rows and does not start that clock. Nothing is copied into your database for you.
What is the stack discount?
The second paid product is 25% off that product's list. The third and later are 35% off list. Live billing keeps the oldest paid subscription at list. Comments is 35% off only when it is the third or later paid subscription.
